Research

Member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN, working on upgrades of the Pixel detector - Insertable B-Layer (IBL) and for high-luminosity-LHC operation - as head of the detector lab of the HEP-group Göttingen of Arnulf Quadt.

1994-1997	PhD student at the University of Hamburg and DESY-Hamburg
1997-2000	Feodor Lynen fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt foundation and RA at the University of Oxford Particle Physics Department: alignment of the SCT, development of an X-ray tomograph for an initial survey of the SCT modules and ZEUS-analysis of high-Q² neutral and charged current DIS events.
2000-2002	research fellow at CERN: systemtest of the ATLAS Semi-Conductor Tracker (SCT)
2002-2007	wiss. Assistent at the Physikalisches Institut in Bonn in the group of Norbert Wermes: FE electronics, module assembly and testing, system test and test beams for the ATLAS Pixel component of the Inner Detector (ID) and analyses within the ATLAS Higgs and tau-ID working groups.
